Delegates are invited to select and participate in one of these workshops.

Programme

Interactive discussions on four key topics relating to security in the supply chain. The objective of the workshops is, through dialogue between delegates, to gain an industry stance forming the basis of the position used to support trade involvement in the development of international supply chain security.

Each workshop will present its thoughts, findings and recommendations to the conference in the post lunch session of the second day. The findings of each workshop will be collated into a statement of conclusions and recommendations which will be used in:

  • Recognising the need for the “trade perspective” in policy development as a partner in the consultation process.
  • Re-emphasising the valuable contribution that trade can make in the creation of workable solutions.
  • Promoting a European trade stance in consultation with governments (national and regional) and international organisations.
